Lighthouse measures technical performance and code-level accessibility compliance. Verifux evaluates actual UX quality: does the visual hierarchy guide users correctly, is the error messaging helpful, is the navigation mentally mappable? These are expert-level design judgements, not rules-based checks.

Our proprietary 54-checkpoint MX/BX/AIX framework extends Nielsen's 10 usability heuristics into 9 pillars across three layers: 7 MX pillars for human experience (can people use it), a bespoke BX pillar for behavioural design and persuasion (will people act, including detection of manipulative dark patterns), and a bespoke AIX pillar for AI agent and LLM readiness (can AI use it). Each checkpoint is weighted by real-world conversion and retention impact. Every audit also includes DX (Design Excellence & Craft), a separate design-taste score that never affects the 54-checkpoint score above - see the next question for how it works.

DX is a separate, optional score (0-100) judging visual design and craft: hierarchy, typography, colour, whitespace, originality, and content voice, benchmarked against publicly documented judging criteria used by leading web design award platforms. It's an independent, holistic first-impression judgement, not a recomputation of the 54-checkpoint score - the two are allowed to disagree, and when a creative choice trades off against strict usability, DX says so explicitly. DX is Verifux's own assessment; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Awwwards, CSSDA, FWA, or any other design-award platform - we reference their publicly known judging categories only as an industry benchmark.

After payment you get a code by email that unlocks your downloads on this site - no account required, ever. There are no subscriptions either: every purchase is a one-time charge with nothing to cancel.

A checkpoint is one specific, testable question about your page - for example, "does every form field have a visible label?" Each of the 54 checkpoints has its own precise evaluation prompt. A checkpoint either passes, or becomes a finding with a severity (Critical, Major, or Minor) and a recommended fix.

An accessibility scan checks whether assistive technology (like a screen reader) can use your page. AIX checks whether an AI agent, shopping assistant, or answer engine can use and act on it - a related but different question, covering things like structured data, crawlable content, and agent-actionable interactions that a standard accessibility audit doesn't test for.
